    Description

    VTG JEANETTE CHERRY BLOSSOM DEPRESSION GLASS CAKE PLATE PLATTER FOOTED 10 1/4".
    This piece is not a reproduction piece. (The leaves have serrated edges) It was made by Jeanette Glass between 1930 and 1939.
    As you probably know, Standard Depression Glass was made with inexpensive materials. Silica sand, soda ash and lime stone were heated and fused, then poured into molds. There may be heavy seams, straw imprints, bubbles, debris incased in the glass, and surface wrinkles. These are normal conditions of depression glass and not flaws.
    This piece has only very light utensil marks. There is a chip on the edge. I have pointed it out in the photos. All three of the photos that have the sticker are the same chip from different angles. It really doesn’t affect the overall appearance and functionality of the piece and will still make a stunning addition to your collection.
