I would call this cake plate mint excellent when I ran my fingers over the feet (there are 3 of them), I could feel a very tiny bit of roughness on 2 of the feet. These are not really chips but more like flecks. Still felt should mention. Beautiful plate. I have had for years and used it for birthday cakes.
