Sizing
Kilts are sized differently than pants. All kilts go by actual waist measurement while jeans and pants do not.  For example, a person that wears size 36 jean would not fit a size 36 kilt.  Typically jeans are labeled about 3-4 inches smaller than what they actually are (so that size 36 would be closer to a 39 or 40).  If you measure your waist with a fabric tape measure, you will know exactly what size to get.
Where should you measure?  Measure where you want to wear the kilt.  Utility kilts are typically worn lower on the waist like shorts or pants.  Unless you are used to wearing clothing up higher on the waist, we recommend   measuring somewhere near where your pants sit.  However, as long as you accurately measure the spot where you are going to wear it, our kilts will fit.
