    Description

Token struck for a retired railroad Yardmaster, W. D. McFerren, who worked for the Southern, Union and Northern Pacific Railroads. He retired in 1978 and had these struck presumably as a personal “calling card”, as they used to say. 20mm in Copper-plated Zinc, the size and material typical of similar commercially made advertising tokens in the 1970’s.
More unusual to find a personal piece, let alone one with a Railroad subject – very cool.
