    Description

    Window card for the 2000 Broadway production of Julie Taymor's "The Green Bird" which opened on April 18, 2000 to splendid critical reviews. Unfortunately the production failed to catch on with audiences and closed after just 56 performances. The play was originally a 1765 commedia dell'arte conception written by Carlo Gozzi as a masked critique of what he considered the dangerous ideas of Enlightenment philosophy.
    The card measure 14 x 22 inches and is printed on standard card stock. The poster is in excellent condition other than trivial edge wear. Colors remain vibrant.
