This is a wonderful book with great pictures and information for Anglers. It talks about places for fishing past and future, famous people that fished in some of the different lakes, marshes, rivers, and ocean. Florida, Chesapeake Bay, the Everglades, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, New York, Georgia, New Zealand, California and on and on. Some of those famous people included Ernest Hemingway, Zane Grey, Winston Churchill, Charlie Chaplin, Ceil B. Demille and General George S. Patton. Avalon is a town above the Tuna Club with shops, restaurants, and other points of interest. Also, you will see Zane Grey Pueblo Hotel which is the former home of the famous author and angler. Then there is the Inn on Mt. Ada, former home of chewing gum mogul William Wrigley, Jr. This is a real keeper for anyone that enjoys fishing of any kind. It definitely has made me want to get back out there on the water.....I might catch a big one!!Copyright 2000 1st edition Clarkson Potter Publisher, NY.
