The name Sweet Melissa might sound like she's a shy little girl--but in fact, she's a 30-foot-long, double-decker pontoon boat, stocked with fishing equipment and Captain Mike. An New York State-certified charter guide with more than 25 year of experience, Mike steers his vessel through multiple lakes in the Finger Lakes region on custom trips. His outings range from basic fishing lessons to walk-and-wade excursions and wintertime ice-fishing adventures. Captain Mike takes anglers on a chartered cruise through the Finger Lakes in hopes of catching fish such as trout, steelhead, salmon, bass, walleye, northern pike, pikerel, and more....
The Sweet Melissa Fishing Charter is home based in Canandaigua, NY and serves several lakes throughout the Finger Lakes Region including Keuka Lake, Conesus Lake, and Honeoye Lake.
Charters in Canandaigua depart from the Canandaigua City Pier or I can pick you up at the dock of your lake home, cottage or rental vacation home. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and refreshing views on board. The Sweet Melissa is 30 ft. Suntracker Party Hut that was fully remodeled in 2012. This dual level split floor fishing vessel is fully equipped with all necessary gear to catch lots of fish. You’ll fish with Mike Fiorentino who has over 25 years experience in these waters and can teach you many
different techniques used in catching large fish. We supply all the gear
necessary for vertical jigging and/or trolling using down riggers and other modern techniques. You are welcome to bring your own equipment for jigging or casting if you choose. There are several lakes to choose from including the historic Erie Canal waterway where you can catch many varieties of different types of fish.
The Boat

of room for you and your party then we have you covered. This Suntracker Party Hut Pontoon Boat is the largest made pontoon in its fleet. It is powered with 90 HP Johnson Outboard motor and was custom built and remodeled in 2012. This Vessel can be fully enclosed from the driver’s console/galley area to the rear of the boat keeping you out of any weather you may encounter. So you can fish rain or shine. It also offers many amenities that may be found in your home such as a heater, refrigerator, propane grill, sink, 3 burner propane stove, stereo , solar panels, power ladder, along with an
enclosed head (bathroom)
for you while on board.

Great for relaxing, fishing and catching rays and jumping in the water for a quick cool down on those hot days. Or kick back and relax on one of

underwater blue lights
that light up the water making it look like a
blue lagoon
at night. These are great to attract those late biting fish after the sunsets and really makes your bait pop in the water.
Our Fishing Poles are a great selection of baitcasters, open face and closed face reels made by
Shimano, Abu Garcia, Diawa, Zebco, & Shakespeare
. All utilizing Ugly Stik's. We even have poles for kids under 12. The Sweet Melissa is also equipped with a
live well
for your days catch if you decide to keep the fish. To put it all into perspective we have the

Sunset Cruises:
If fishing is not your forte then gather a few friends and take a day or night cruise down beautiful Canandaigua Lake to enjoy the refreshing views and weather.
Plenty of comfortable seating available along with a huge 10" x 8" rooftop sundeck to catch some rays or jump off and swim. This vessel has many household amenities such as a stereo w/ 10 speakers through out the boat, sink, refrigerator, grill, and stove located in the galley for your food & beverages. Boat is also equipped with blue lights throughout making night trips a blast. Along with underwater blue lights that light up the front of the boat like a blue lagoon for swimming, diving, and fun at dusk or dawn.
