I include here the description given to me by an elder numismatist adviser of mine:
“The iconography on this piece in relation to the King´s portrait is almost identical to the 1632 ¼ Thaler commemorating his death and bravery when dying at the battle of Lützen, therefore more than likely a Swedish minted piece in Weißenfels.
A similar piece in Gold with a weight of over 5 Grams was catalogued for 50,000 Swedish Krone!
(over 5,000 U$S ?!!).
This is an extremely rare piece, very thin, weighting 3.02 Grams, therefore not being Gold but Gold plated instead. The Gold plating was assumingly done after minting and as such became part of a very old piece of Jewelry from where this rarity comes from.”
This is a rare (unlisted in a Krause catalogue!!) Gold plated off metal coin from a very old piece of Jewelry.
