Olds 3/4 size baritone horn, upright bell 3 valves

Description

Olds 3/4 size baritone horn, upright bell 3 valves. I don't know who manufactured this horn; Olds was a California brand, and this horn says Elkhart, Indiana.  Name is, I guess, used under license.  Serial #H315xx.  10" upright bell, height 21-22".  There are dings and small dents throughout the instrument, notably on the leadpipe (Photo 4) and parallel to the bell section (Photo 3) and the outside bow opposite the bell section.  None affect playability.  All slides slide.  All valves move freely. Water keys are functional and seal well.  Instrument plays easily, but does not have great range of pitch and has the same tuning problems that most 3/4 size baritones will have.Mouthpiece is provided: a generic 12C.  Soft case is so-called abrasion cloth which is not, in fact, abrasive.  It is relatively new, in excellent condition, and contains a huge accessory pouch large enough to contain sheet music and many music folders.
This is a fine beginner level horn in good condition that produces a good tone, and is small enough for a younger player to handle.  A serious student will want to move on from this horn as a primary instrument, but may still want to use this horn for home practice or marching.
