ANTIQUE BALTIMORE AND OHIO RAILROAD TIN CONDUCTORS BOX TOLEWARE DECORATED. This box and its assemblage is a fantastic piece of history. The tin box has its original Baltimore and Ohio RR brass lock with key and a Walton’s ticket punch. It has its original green paint with patina and owners name “ H . C. Duvall” and the railroad initials. On the box is the hasp which is brass. The interior of the box has a removable tray with 4 sections. The lid has two tin straps that would have secured papers. Belonging to Henry C. Duvall, a conductor or ticket agent with Baltimore and Ohio RR at the the Washington depot during the Civil War. 5 Civil War cover envelopes included. This was handed down to family members over the years as a collection. Hopefully it can remain together in the future.
