TRIP OVERVIEW: I'm offering a two (2) day, eight (8) hours per day fly fishing trip with a professional fly fishing guide.  Our package includes two (2) nights lodging with full meals. This is a great package for a couple’s weekend retreat or just a couple of friends. You lodging is a three (3) bedroom, three (3) full bath condo located above Gatlinburg with a direct view of Mt. LeConte.
We will be fishing in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, either in Tennessee or North Carolina.  We will be pursuing rainbow, brown and brook trout, the grand slam as we call it, which clients have done time and time again. The streams would be composed of tiny streams (above 4000 feet for brook trout) to the Little River. Streams like Jake's Creek and Collins Creek. Roaring Fork offers a very technical fishing experience, located right in the heart of Gatlinburg. Walker Camp Prong offers very strong odds of finding the "Jewel of the Smokies", Brook Trout. Please see my pictures. In addition, there is a Trophy Stream, Catch & Release Only, Fly Fishing only stream in Cherokee, NC that we can fish. The license is .00 a day per person. HUGE fish.....
My pictures show multiple facets of this trip. Views from our condo looking at Mt. LeConte, Brook trout fishing on Walker Camp Prong (4,200 ft elevation), beautiful snow cover, a typical rainbow trout that we can catch in downtown Gatlinburg (yes downtown Gatlinburg), the wildlife very near our condo and a view of our condo.
My wife is such a wonderful cook and wow's me even to this day!!!!
TRAVEL INFO: There is an airport nearby, Knoxville, (TYS). If you want to fly in, I'll pick you at the airport. If you are driving in, we can meet at a predetermined place and go in my car to the streams. We will base out of Gatlinburg, TN, the number one tourist destination in Tennessee. Home of Dollywood and great shopping. If your better half doesn't want to fish, they can spend the day at the many outlet malls in Pigeon Forge, TN.
GUIDE INFO: I have been guiding for 25 years and fly fishing for 42 years. I have had the pleasure of fishing all of the US, fresh and salt water. I worked part time for Orvis at the Sevierville, TN location for 6 years. I have fly fished the Southern Appalachian Mountains for 39 years.
