The fifth generation Corvette (C5) really is a gem. It combines power, performance, and practicality into a surprisingly affordable package that has really aged well. This nicely optioned 2004 model in Torch Red represents the final year of C5 production and is a great example of what makes America’s sports car so special.
This sharp Corvette shows 62k miles and has an accident-free Autocheck report. The brilliant paint really makes it stand out, while the tinted windows and blacked out wheels provide a nice contrast. This car is also equipped with the dual roof package, providing both an opaque body colored panel and a translucent tinted panel. Of course, you can also run with no panel at all! Tires are Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 models in the factory sizes of 245/45-17 front, 275/40-18 back.
As a 2004 model this one is equipped with the revolutionary LS1 engine factory rated at 350 hp. The rear mounted transmission is the 4L60E 4-speed automatic overdrive feeding a 2.73 rear axle. This all results in a fantastic driving experience that is surprisingly easy to handle and capable of 30 mpg on the highway.
The black leather interior is surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Factory options include dual power seats, climate control, and HUD (head-up display). There is also a tilt / telescoping steering column topped by a leather wrapped wheel. The original radio has been upgraded to an aftermarket Pioneer unit with a flip-out touch screen and full Bluetooth capability. This car is also equipped with the optional windshield antenna to prevent any broken masts or power units.
