This 2003 Chevrolet Corvette is a 50th Anniversary Edition that has been converted by Advanced Automotive Technologies (AAT) to be made to look like a classic 1953 Corvette. Essentially, this '03 Corvette has all of the modern comforts of a modern sports car with the classic stylings of a C1 Corvette. To convert this C5 Corvette into what it is today, AAT took a C5 Corvette and added custom body panels, custom trim, and dressed up the engine to give this C5 a one-of-a-kind classic look. What makes this particular Corvette even more special is that it was ordered as a 50th Anniversary Edition, which came in Anniversary Red with the 50th Anniversary Custom Embroidered Headrests. This particular '03 'Vette was number 144, as indicated on the gold plaque mounted inside the vehicle. A 350 Horsepower 5.7 Liter LS1 V8 Engine with Electronic Fuel Injection, which makes for a both powerful and reliable powerplant under the hood. The LS1 V8 is hooked up to a Hydra-Matic 4L60E 4 Speed Automatic Transmission with Overdrive that anybody can drive with ease. Being that this is a modern Corvette, it is equipped with all of the creature comforts, most of which were not available back in 1953. Power Steering makes turning into tight spaces much easier. 4 Wheel Power Disc Brakes provides plenty of stopping power for the 350 HP LS1. This 50th Anniversary Corvette is also equipped with Magnetic Selective Ride Control with 2 different suspension settings, Tour (for everyday driving) and Sport (for track performance). This Corvette sits on 4 Champagne Aluminum Wheels that were specific to the 50th Anniversary Edition Corvettes along with P245/45ZR17 Radial Tires in the front and P275/40ZR18 in the rear. The Beige Cloth Top with Rear Glass Window is manually operated and can be easily put into place by a single person. The interior of this '03 Corvette is stunning. The Bucket Seats are finished in beautiful Shale Leather with the special 50th Anniversary Emblems embroidered into the headrests. The interior options on this Corvette offer all of the creature comforts we've come to expect on modern cars including power windows, power seats, power adjustable mirrors, AM/FM/CD Entertainment system, power door locks, Air Conditioning, and more! The instrument cluster is in its stock configuration including the 50th Anniversary Emblems on the Speedometer and Tachometer. Perhaps the coolest option on this C5 Corvette is the Fighter Jet-Inspired, Head-Up Display that gives the driver a better view of the speedometer and tachometer projected onto the windshield. Whether you're a long-time Corvette collector or this is your first 'Vette, this 2003 Chevrolet Corvette 50th Anniversary AAT Conversion would be a great car to just jump in and drive. Give us a call today!
