1956 Chevrolet Bel Air

Description

This is one of the nicest 56 Bel Air hard tops as far as original untouched, never rusty, never wrecked, and straight as a string. No need to pay thousands to a body man to replace metal and get rid of layers of paint and bondo! The original owner took it to a friends body shop here in Memphis fifty years ago to have a color change done. They took the trim and other parts off and started prepping the body. The owner got sick and they shoved it to the back of the building and covered it. A friend of mine bought it and it sat in his shop for another ten years. His business has taken him in another direction and I bought it. Now I need to pass it along now as I have placed my Dad in a nursing home and can't Pro Tour it like I had planned. A reproduction 56 body will cost more than what I am asking and it will be missing a ton of parts and have no title. The reproduction body will never be as good as this original survivor. The dash, steering wheel, and things are close to mint condition. The headliner is mint! The original spare is in the trunk. I think i have all the trim for the car. i have not inventoried them yet. Bottom line is this could be easily restored to original or Pro Toured with such a great body. The doors click shut like a safe door. I urge anyone interested to please come inspect this car!
