This is a VERY NICE '51 Chevy. This is a rare model. The back windows slide back about 3" instead of rolling down All trim is in excellat condition, all trim has been power buffed. Paint is Very nice straight as an arrow. I can not find ANY PLACE WHERE THERVIS BONDOBIN THE BODY, I WOULD SWEAR THIS THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN WRECKED OR DAMAGED. RUNS EXCELLENT OUT ON THE ROAD. THE PAINT is base/clear and in excellant condition
.   The engine is a '57 235 .060 overbore.Newly rebuilt engine with a Fenton alum. Intake with dual Carter carbs that do not leak. Fenton cast iron split manifold. Mallory dust. W/Petronix electronics. 8mm plug wires. Wayne valve cover and lifter valley covers. Engine runs really good and cool with a new Champion Alum. radiator and a 6 blade Derale fan. Power Steering just newly added
The transmission has just been converted to a new  Williams 3 speed shifter  in the floor and retains the orig. transmission and the rear gears are 3:56. This 51 will run 70-80 on the highway all day.  The engine does not smoke anytime . There is an electric fuel pump to prime the carbs after sitting for a while but runs off the engine mounted pump. Nice Kenwood stereo with a big pair of Pioneer 3 way speakers mounted in the package tray , also an electric antenna that  ones up when the radio is energized. Newport Eng. 2 speed electric wipers . The interior is in absolutely MINT condition and is a professional Grade interior in a charcoal and gray color. The chrome on the dash is excellant. New weatherstrip everywhere there is rubber
The engine is very strong and starts instantly. A chromed 12 volt alternator has been added. I just finished ,not shown in pics, installing a new radiator.The engine has about 8000 miles since a professional rebuild and pegs the oil pressure gauge while running down the road. The brakes are excellant. Thought about front disc but they work so good I decided to leave it alone.
This is definately a collector Grade '51 Chevy. I would not be afraid to go across country with this car. It is as sound everywhere.
I really Ike the 6 cylinder engine and brings a smile to a  of faces when they hear the sweet sound that the split manifold makes, a sound unlike anyother and then they see the 6 with dual carbs brings back a lot of memories to the old timers. This car is not meant to be an all out racer but a nice nostalgic piece.  IT GARNERS smiles and thumbs up everywhere I take it.
The car has passed a  NSRA safety 23 inspection There is an original type spare tire with orig .jack in the trunk.
I will assist the buyer with any help needed to get the car transported.
