    Description

U.S.A. bidders only. All funds must clear my bank first. I will not release ownership until it's paid for in full. I will only consider cash in person or wire transfer.
    Have
funds in order no waiting on loan games.
Have a shipper ready to go. Verify shipping before you bid please. I will not play games there is no after auction negotiations. Come see it in person before bidding if you like. I live off a major route so tractor trailer enclosed carriers can drive right up to my door. See the pictures watch the videos I have in links below.
Watch videos, see pictures, ask questions. Swaps may be considered and locally listed for sale or trade. So if reserve is not met. I can end this anytime if something else or the right offer $$ comes along. Sits low no tire rub but will need a low trailer or lift gate hauler to load safely. They will need low ramps etc. I will assist anyway I can. This is a used driven custom built hot rod. No warranties expressed or implied in this sale. Sold in as is condition. Ask any questions. If your not completely sure do not bid it's that simple. Being sold below my investment can't build it for my number. Just looking for a change equally as cool. Springtime my number will go back up. No inclement weather rides our season is ending here.
Nice ride to advertise your shop or business. Ad your logo get noticed.
One cool custom ride. This was built by a local builder to my area, this is not his first build, he's done some really cool rides. Keeping true to the vibe but having some nice modern upgrades. Being offered is this 1950 Chevrolet 3100 Custom chopped panel truck.
Under the 78 pinstriped louvers on the hood, is a 1959 235 3.9 liter 6 cylinder motor. This has some nice updates internally as well as visually.  Wayne Finned valve cover on top and finned side cover. Moon style breathers. Offenhauser intake topped off with dual Rochester carbs. They both work and have Custom stainless fuel lines.  Tuck has been updated with all new modern wiring from Kwik Wire. From front to back is stainless dual exhaust and mufflers. All the added chrome and vintage speed parts give this a great period correct look. The custom painted cans on the fire wall say gas and oil. They are for eye appeal only- non functional. The fire wall is recessed and polished. ( perfect opportunity for a small block v8 ) The look is all around period cool. The motor is backed by a 4 speed transmission rebuilt by previous owner. It continues out back with a 10 bolt rear 3:55 gear with sway bar. The truck is no speed demon. You are not going to lay a quarter mile patch of rubber. Built as a sled not a drag car. The rear has a air lift system if you desire a stiffer ride with zero leaks and zero tire rub in it's lowest position. Adjustable gauge and switch in glove box. The lowered stance is brought about by a dropped I beam axle up front with disc brakes. Manual steering with a steering dampener setup. The rear has lowering blocks and drum brakes. An updated dual master cylinder is under the driver's floor with access. Has a 15 gallon fuel tank and the bottom has no issues. The truck has no patches in the floors. It was a very well kept clean truck. It's black and looks sanitary.
The mods to the body are countless. Lets begin with the obvious. The truck was chopped. This is no easy task. The original owner did a fantastic job. The back windows are mere slits with a front visor giving it a sinister look. The visor attachment has a turned spun look. It's the subtle that comes out after several walk arounds. As mentioned the hood is louvered. The splash pan between bumper and body is chromed and louvered. The cowl vent door is chrome. No door handles needed as all the doors work properly on a key fob. ( shown in video ) No worries getting in as there is a safety release for the back door. The front head lights were frenched with the turn signal lights. The rear tails were frenched using 59 Cadillac tail lights. The rear wheel wells have been scooped for three aluminum scallops, topped off by cruiser skirts. The gas door has a interior release. The running boards were chromed, poking out the front is dummy lake pipes for the look. The hood and the front are covered with era correct flames. I have the paint name, year and codes for each color. I have a lot of files on the truck and even the design concept drawings from the original builder for the outside and inside interior.
Let's take a stroll into the interior of the ride. No expense spared by Z-Best custom interiors. Every inch of this 3100 panel is wrapped in black and red two tone cool. The old school flamed cooler is used to carry stuff but it is fully functional. Speakers out back as well as in the upper head console which has your am/fm cd radio. Outside the frenched antenna hole has a hand painted spider with and eyeball antenna topper looking up at it. It raises and lowers with radio. But who cares about that when you have Vintage air and heat. ( they both work properly) The front seats are fully power adjustable on both sides. The banjo wheel has a custom skull horn. All the lights work. Door courtesy, interior roof front and back and reverse, turn signals and wipers. The extra gauges read temp and oil and she never runs hot. Tall shifter has attitude setting off the red dash and chrome bezels. As keeping with the original vibe. Floor push button start to a new starter. The door trim is 56 Ford and the garnish moldings are chromed. The windows are power both sides. The knobs on the dash are chrome bullets. One of the keys is actually one of the bullets. Nice custom touch as I can walk away with key in the ignition and no one's the wiser. Steering column is held in place with a polished piston rod. The body is flat clear and can be wiped with spray quick wax. The truck has pinstripe work throughout with a pinup Lady Luck 13 on back door. Also the Rat Fink on radiator support is hand painted as well. Ask your questions then bid. You offer a swap, nothing over 1970. I'm not a fan of 4 doors no T buckets zero boats and or bikes.  As the ad says I have two customs I may list the other after it goes in a show set up in March. Imagine if you paid a shop to do this work. I'm far less than that I'm offering it below my investment. Starting bid is reserve. There's over 40 in it. Price will go back up in spring if not sold. If your looking for an old school traditional vibe with some modern touches. This may be the one for you.

A box full of information comes with. I had all the fluids flushed and changed, tune up is fresh as well as battery in 2022. Turn the key, hit the choke and go cruising.
Expect a driven hot rod. This was not built yesterday. Pictures and video are current. Expect a nick or a blemish. Not a pebble beach ride. Drop in a 350 or a 400 and have a tire smoker. Gas gauge works and sometimes doesn't. Fill up about every 100 or so miles your good to go. Odometer works. The truck is excellent on gas. The new stainless exhaust is beautiful. could use new gasket at the collector starting to get a little blow by. Not at the manifold. Comfortable ride I'm 6 foot plenty of room. Tons of looks and thumbs up all the time. Pictures don't do justice to this ride.
